We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Resident Services Attendant to join Hillcrest. The Resident Services Attendant is responsible for providing general assistance to residents. Set up and service of meals. Clean up of kitchen and dining room. Assistance in facilitating/ initiating 911 services if needed. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health Care Center.
Competencies:
- Completes assignment schedule/clean-up duties.
- Assists in the preparation and serving (or pre-setting) at meals times.
- Answers call bells promptly and courteously and is responsive to resident's needs.
- Assists with set up, serving and provision of resident assistance as needed (including trays to be served in room) at resident meal times or when requested.
- Resets dining room tables accurately and restocks condiments for resident meals.
- Aides in compliance with various resident diets and food preferences.
- Works independently in absence of director; interacts effectively with Director and is an effective liaison. Updates Director on operation of facility, including resident/family issues.
- Is familiar with State, Federal and local regulations and aids in compliance.
- Acts as a liason to dietary dept. Calls Foods Services department whenever stock is insufficient for next days meals.
- Performs minor housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain orderly and neat appearance of the facility and as assigned.
- Assists in organizing and maintaining dietary supplies in storeroom; assures that all food items are dated and properly stored.
- Encourages residents to participate in scheduled activities.
- Able to initiate work improvements.
- Records all resident charges on monthly log in a timely manner.
- Receives, reports, records and follows through with observations of relevant resident information in daily log book and to Director as needed.
- Oversees and cares for residents on a daily basis; is alert to change in resident's condition, reports to Director and documents in daily log.
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Work every other weekend Saturday and Sunday.

- Economical and careful with activity equipment and supplies.
- The individual is competent to care for geriatric (ages 65+) residents.
- Inform residents/families to activities available, white boards, calendars (small and large), resident/family contact and IDC.
- Alert to change in resident's condition and reports change immediately to Charge Nurse (RN), Activity Director and IDC team.
- Maintains resident activity grids, uses pink sheets appropriately, rewrites in vital comments or goals and months.
- Assists in serving resident's meals or feeding in the dining rooms, in a timely, courteous and accurate manner.
- Utilizes Activity protocols, policies, and procedures to meet all of resident's needs.
- Assures that isolated/room bound residents are being visited 1:1.
- Works independently and effectively in the absence of Activity Director or other activity staff during evening, weekend and holiday hours.
- Encourages residents to participate in religious activities, as they choose.

The Activity Therapist is responsible for assisting in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Activity Programs in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards, as well as facility policies and procedures, to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, intellectual, recreational and social needs of the patient are met/maintained on an individual basis. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, Insurance Coordinator to join our Livewell Counseling Center. The Insurance Coordinator is the Livewell insurance expert interacting with patients at Livewell Counseling several times daily. The Coordinator reviews new and established patient accounts for accurate insurance verification, claims processing, copay collection as well as but not limited to working in coordination with the Revenue Cycle team on related tasks. Performs a varitey of related clerical duties. Answers telephone, schedules appointments, documents in electronic charts. - Reviews daily/weekly schedule of appointments.
- Reviews new and established accounts for accurate active insurance information, including but not limited to reviewing claims processing and copay collection.
- Contacts new patients to review insurance information prior to first appt; maintains log.
- Contacts established patient to obtain new insurance and or discuss any relevant insurance/payment issues; maintains log.
- Reviews monthly statements prior to mailing and follows up on any returned statements that need updated information/addresses.
- Utilizes all available insurance portals/tools and Contacts insurance companies to ensure insurance is accurate.
- Makes collection calls and assists with copay collection and processing.
- Manages all insurance disputes through resolution with clients.
- Reviews high balance accounts.
- Identifies and prepares accounts for collection.
- Identifies and communicates accounts that may need a refund.
- Applies copays to accounts specific to dates of service.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintains and updates Sliding scale/Financial assistance applications and patient status.
- Works congruent with the both the front office and finance teams to communicate account issues.
- Works closely with group homes to ensure account information is accurate.
- Covers front office staff when coverage issues arise including but not limited to vacation coverage for essential office manage and copay collection tasks.

The purpose of this position is to assist the Charge Nurse in the smooth functioning of the unit. The Unit Secretary supports the unit philosophy and works collaboratively with the Charge Nurse, Executive Assistant and the Nurse Executive. Must have the flexibility, personal integrity and be able to work effectively with personnel from all departments. - Ensures that the daily time schedules correspond to the N.O. schedules and takes corrective action.
- Monitors, searches and records all packages brought to and leaving the unit.
- Maintains the medical record according to the standards.
- Ensures that ordering is done prior to staff running out of supplies and equipment on appropriate ordering forms.
- Refers calls to appropriate persons while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday - Friday, no weekends.
Education:High School Graduate with some secretarial education.

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, driver to join the Material Management department. The driver will be responsible for transporting passengers to and from on campus and off campus destinations in a safe, comfortable and efficient manner. Driver Competencies:
- Transports residents and clients to activity trips and appointments on and off campus.
- Informs Transportation Supervisor when transports are completed.
- Informs Transportation Supervisor whenever ill or absent as per policy.
- Reports all problems with the clients on the van or bus.
- Ensures that the vans and buses are clean, safe and maintained.
- Fills out a daily auto inspection report.
Shipping & Receiving Competencies:
- Responsible for providing support to the Shipping & Receiving Department.
- Verifies the accuracy and completeness of the packing slips in comparison to the purchase orders, and delivering supplies to the various departments.
- Assists vendor drivers load and/or unload vehicles.
- Ships vendor returns or repairs.
- Properly documents and receives authorization for shipment.
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining product and supply inventory levels in the central supply department and PAR Rooms.
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday (no weekends)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day-to-day functions of the community. Experience: Must have five years experience in a senior care industry, preferably in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Admissions Caseworker to join our Ramapo Ridge Admissions team. The Admissions Caseworker accepts "Intake" calls and processes them. Contacts insurance companies for precertification re: benefits. Interviews incoming psychiatric patients and/or his/her representatives. Completes initial screening of patients and presents information to psychiatrist for approval. Coordinates admissions and on-site evaluations with assigned staff. Prepares all admission paperwork. Assigns patients to room (in consultation with nursing staff). The individual is competent to care for patients in the following age groups: adult (ages 18 - 64) and geriatric (ages 65 +). The PNA is responsible for contributing to the development, evaluation and reassessment of care plans through observing and reporting changes in patient behavior and physical status. The PNA is also responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the safe and therapeutic environment of the unit. The individual is competent to care for patients in the following age groups: adult (ages 19 - 64) and geriatric (ages 65 +).
