We have an exciting opportunity for a Utilization Review Nurse to work in Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health (RRBH). The Utilization Review Nurse promotes effective utilization and monitoring of health care resources to achieve desired clinical, financial and resource outcomes. Verifies all insurance coverage eligibility, benefit details, pre certification/authorization requirements and billing/claims instructions. Ensures accurate insurance data is available in the medical record. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to review all managed care medical record documentation for compliance as required in a timely manner. Ensures that medical record documentation for patients admitted to RRBH meets medical necessity criteria for each level of care. Provides for timely and accurate clinical reviews as required to ensure compliance with managed care organizations. Follows up and assesses any managed care denials for risk/benefit of appeal. Seeking caring and motivated psychotherapists to join our multidisciplinary team of Behavioral health providers. The qualified candidate will have supervised clinical experience in conducting psychological and behavioral health assessments as well as formulating individualized treatment plans for our patient population.

Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health (RRBH) is a 58-bed, inpatient hospital licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC). RRBH has also received Disease-specific Care Certification for Dementia from TJC. RRBH is licensed to accept both voluntary and involuntary patients, and consists of two divisions: a general adult psychiatric program and a geriatric psychiatric program. Patients in both programs benefit from a full range of treatment services.

Our nationally recognized Bolger Short-term Rehab is advantageous for individuals: who have had a joint replacement; are recovering from a surgery or illness, including cardiac surgery, a stroke, or pneumonia; or have a chronic illness and complex medical conditions, such as cardiac disease, gastrointestinal illnesses, renal disease, pulmonary disease, neurological disorders, cancer, or diabetes, or have a new ostomy.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time RN to join our Bolger Short term Rehab. As a RN working in short -term you are responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of the Christian Health.
Schedule: Part Time 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm and 11pm - 7am shifts available.
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. New Graduate Nurses welcome to apply.
