Hourly Rate Range: $18.00-$20.00

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Dietary Van Driver to join our Dining and Nutrition Services department.  The Dietary Van Driver is responsible for driving the van to make food deliveries and distributing food and paper orders to the units including off campus. Responsible for paper products inventories and ordering. Takes on responsibilities of store room clerk in his/her absence. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health. 

Competencies:

• Takes inventory of paper products and notifies Dietary Clerk of shortages. 
• Delivers all food products to lower campus buildings.
• Stocks, sweeps, mops, and pulls shakes from freezer into produce refrigerator. 
• Delivers soiled towels and aprons to the laundry room.
• Stocks storeroom, kitchen and DeRoo house with all paper products. 
• Assists Storeroom Clerk in receiving and storing when larger deliveries arrive. 
• Stocks, sweeps, mops, and rotates stock in all refrigerators. 
• Dates and rotates all food products before stocking. 
• Responsible for all van needs (i.e. gasoline, cleaning and filling maintenance work orders). 
• Delivers special request food and supplies to lower campus buildings for special functions.
• Delivers ice to East Wing freezer at 3 p.m. 
• Bends, lifts, stocks shelves, stores food in freezer, delivers food to units and other buildings.

Equipment Utilization: Driving an automatic van, pushing carts.

Schedule: Mon., Wed., Thurs. 6am-2pm, Tues. & Fri. 6:30am-2:30pm & Every Other Weekend.
