We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Assistant Washperson to join our Environmental Services department.  The Assistant Washman is responsible for the sanitary sorting and washing of the general wash. Also responsible for the cleanliness of the Laundry. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.

Competencies:

• Sorts soiled linen by class. 
• Programs washer by class. 
• Completes a daily production report of pounds washed. 
• Maintains proper water levels, temperature and supplies. 
• Loads and unloads 250 pound wash wheels. 
• Cleans lint collector and lint traps. 
• Checks chemical levels, water softener levels. 
• Mops floor. 
• Assists in emergency situations to cover other schedules such as linen distributor and laundry aide. 
• Performs all Environmental Services Tech I and Tech II specific duties and responsibilities. 

Schedule: 1pm-9pm & 3pm-11pm, Monday - Friday & Every other weekend.
