Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Strategic Executive Assistant to the CEO of Christian Health. The Strategic Executive Assistant acts as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting in the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals. Manages the CEO’s schedule, handle communications, and contributes to project management related to key strategic initiatives. Acts as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear and effective communication. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.
Competencies:
Executive and Strategic Support
- Managing the CEO's calendar, travel, and communications.
- Acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing meeting agendas and presentations for leadership team discussions, and strategy retreats, tracking follow-up.
- Coordinating and attending key meetings.
- Conducting research, compiles data, and analyzes trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Supports strategic planning and budgeting each year by coordinating timelines, gathering input from leadership, and preparing summary materials.
- Keep track of progress related to key strategic initiatives.
- Services as the point person or liaison for assigned committees, task forces, or councils.
- Review or draft policy documents on behalf of the CEO or leadership team.
- Collaborates with Human Resources to manage the annual scorecard process.
- Support CEO-led employee engagement efforts, such as Coffee with the President and town halls, to include pulling together talking points or background information.
- Support CEO driven action items and help move them forward across department.
- Lead special projects or cross-functional efforts at the executive level.
Corporate Communications and Executive Presence
- Drafting and editing speeches, internal messaging, memos, announcements, and correspondence.
- Create and manage executive presentations, talking points, and prepare documents for public speaking and key meetings.
- Working with Marketing & Communications to ensure message alignment with our brand and mission.
- Managing my public-facing profiles (LinkedIn, website bio, etc.).
- Stay up to date on industry trends and surface ideas that could drive innovation or strengthen CH.
- Keeping an eye on relevant media mentions and speaking opportunities.
- Supporting thought leadership efforts (blog posts, op-eds, etc.).
Board of Trustees Support
- Gathers agendas and materials for board meetings.
- Prepares board packets, executive summaries, and strategic dashboards to support governance.
- Ensures board directives and follow-ups are tracked an implemented.
- Coordinates communication and scheduling with board members.
- Sending notices for board and committee meetings.
- Attending Board meetings and serving as Recording Secretary.
- Taking and distributing meeting minutes.
- Sending monthly board reports.
- Responding to board member questions and requests.
Executive Staff & Senior Management Coordination
- Participating with Senior Management in support of the mission.
- Gathering monthly credit card justifications from managers.
- Compiling the CEO’s monthly management report.
CEO Office Operations
- Managing office supply inventory for CEO.
- Answering incoming calls to the CEO’s office.
- Maintaining files, manuals, and correspondence.
- Prioritizing and organizing incoming mail.
- Typing CEO-related materials (minutes, speeches, forms, etc.).
- Making travel arrangements.
- Managing petty cash.
Special Projects
- Sending thank-you notes for guest donations.
- Jumping in other special projects and confidential work.
General Coordination & Committee Involvement
- Organizing internal meetings (room setup, catering, logistics).
- Participating on internal committees.
- Attending OSR meetings.
In-House Counsel Support
- Support In-House Counsel administrative needs.
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday - Friday, plus evening Board Meetings.
Education: Bachelors’ degree preferred.
