JOB SUMMARY

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Development Coordinator to join our Foundation department. Under the direction of the Foundation Director, the development coordinator has experience with fundraising and donor relations, is ambitious, organized, and creative and who can help elevate the foundation’s fundraising efforts. They will identify funding opportunities and develop strategies to increase fundraising and a pipeline of new donors. The development coordinator will be an ambassador of Christian Health building partnerships in the community and fostering new and existing donor relations for future funding opportunities. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health. 

 

Competencies:

  • Resourceful in gaining knowledge and understanding of the services, programs and communities of Christian Health. 
  • Works with the Foundation Director to coordinate and manage targeted donor communication and solicitation strategies: such as lapsed donors, recurring, monthly, moves management, and planned giving, etc. 
  • Collaborates with marketing and program teams on design and implementation of communications and direct mail campaigns to align with development priorities.
  • Researches and identifies prospective new donors and proactively initiates a strategy for solicitations and enhancing fundraising for the organization. 
  • Provides regular and as-needed Raiser’s Edge reports for the Foundation Director. Generates special reports on request. Creates queries, compiles lists and runs reports for strategic fundraising and development and marketing purposes 
  • Analyzes donor giving history and capacity through various donor CRM platforms including Raiser’s Edge to develop strategies for solicitations. 
  • Manages a portfolio of existing and new donors to build on donor relations and develop and track a moves management strategy for increased giving. 
  • Assists the Foundation Director in the development of fundraising goals and works to achieve and surpass these goals.
  • Works directly with Foundation Director and development team to manage project workflow and oversee day to day milestones for projects 
  • Interface with donors, prospects and Board members as needed.
  • Assists with other special projects as determined by the Foundation Director. 
  • Supports Christian Health Foundation with special events as needed including solicitation of in-kind event support (auction items, event donations). The development coordinator must be available to assist on the day/evening of special events. 
  • Other Duties as required. 

 

Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of development and fundraising experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in Raiser’s Edge database and CRM management a must and ability to learn new software required.
  • Good listening and organizational skills are required.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm. Must behave and communicate in a professional manner representing CH.
  • Must have the ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
